On the weekend of November 3/4, the ladies in the congregation gathered at Bethesda Renewal Centre just west of Ottawa for our annual Fall Retreat. It is always a relaxing and encouraging time as we visit, pray and encourage one another. This year we had May Plews from the Russell congregation join us and lead us in a discussion on how to be encouraged by the Word and how to encourage each other with the Word. Many also enjoyed a walk in the afternoon around the beautiful country property and we always enjoy Julie’s delicious cooking.
